Thursday was our third annual Social Justice Day for Upper Division! Grades 4-8 spent a memorable day attending workshops, seminars, performances, and a keynote all focused on considering what social justice means and this year's theme "Dare to Dream, Dare to Do."

As in past years, the variety of workshops for students was inspiring. From Subversive Protest Posters to Product Design for Equity and Inclusion, from Self Advocacy and the Racism Playbook to Indigenous Nations in the US: How to Right Past Wrongs, there were choices for every interest. And as always, pulling off a successful all-day event takes participation! A huge thank you to Ms. Destiny and our SJD committee for all their work, and also to all of the faculty and staff who helped organize and taught and supported workshops!
