What a beautiful morning for Evergreen's Kindergarten March for Change! All three kindergarten classes—the Rainbow Cheetahs, Dancing Unicorns, and Rainbow Kitty Helpers—have spent weeks learning about changemakers, people who help change the world for the better. From Greta Thunberg to Wangari Maathai, and numerous others, they've used individuals as way to discuss big concepts like justice, air pollution, health care, reducing waste, volunteering to support elders and beyond. 

For the march, students chose a favorite cause or person who inspired them the most and then made their own signs. Today, in a culminating celebration, they started off singing songs in the courtyard and then set off to march the long block around the school. On their return, they were greeted by faculty & staff, parents and friends, and also this year's 1st graders, who were last year's marchers!
