Our School

Today was our first all-school assembly of the year — it is so great to gather in person again! Student leaders headed the proceedings and welcomed new faculty and staff with flowers. After a spirited singing of the school song "We're Evergreen" and a visit by Malcon the Falcon, students spread out around campus to meet their new buddies.

 

In this signature Evergreen program, Primary Division classes are matched with Upper Division classes, and throughout the year, buddy classes and pairs meet up for regular lunches and fun activities. Getting to know students in different grades fosters connection on campus, familiarity with older students for the younger ones, and often welcome reconnection to former teachers and classroom areas for the older ones. It's fun to see younger students waving to older buddies as they pass by on campus!
